Aerobic Digesters, 2 Holding Tanks and a centrifuge make up this system.
The Waste Activated Sludge flows through a series of aerobic digesters,
breaking down the sludge further. The last tanks to be used are the
holding tanks, where sludge is stored until we dewater it using a
centrifuge. The water from this stage is fed back to the plant and
solids are sent to a landfill.
