Treated Wastewater / Irrigation and Wetlands

Once
through our filtration system, the wastewater is now treated or
sometimes called effluent. The effluent is now ready for irrigation use
or wetlands discharge.
Our final system includes a storage tank with a capacity of 5 Million Gallons. The storage tank receives the treated wastewater from the filters.
From the storage tank the effluent is discharged through use of a pump station to golf courses or commercial customers for irrigation.During periods of low irrigation, we can also discharge to a wetlands area.
When discharging to the wetlands, sulfur dioxide is used to dechlorinate.
